Marketing Assistant JOB DESCRIPTION POSITION SUMMARY The Marketing Assistant will be responsible for assisting in day-to-day operations and management of content of the UA University Recreation’s TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. including employment eligibility, conditions of employment, duties and assignments. This position can be stressful during busy times such as the beginning of school terms. University College of Law and is designed for Student Assistants. General office hours are 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. Employees must be registered for a minimum of 6 undergraduate and 5 graduate credits per term, excluding Summer term. Employees may not work during scheduled class times. Working schedule is between 8 and 20 hours per week during most weeks of the school terms, depending on availability. Live in University Housing & Residence Life.Present self in a positive and professional manner.Requires registration as a PSU student, in good academic standing.Must have the ability to pass a criminal background check.Must have strong verbal and written English skills.Must have basic computer skills including using Google Suite, Microsoft Word and Excel.Student Caf Assistants assist in all functions of the caf including cashiering. Able to work efficiently and positively in a high-stress work environment The Student Caf Assistant is required to know all policies and follow them.Evening and weekend hours may be available. Student Assistants in the UL work with materials in a number of formats (print, electronic, video, audio) and assist with the course reserve collections. Create an approachable and service-oriented environment at the Community Center by prioritizing assisting residents and completing Community Center tasks. The Undergraduate Library (91) and the Media & Design Center employs Student Assistants to assist with circulation duties. Must have the ability to respond to multiple requests in a fast-paced environment RESPONSIBILITIES Work in a manner that enhances an inclusive and supportive community by building rapport, respecting, and engaging with individuals through initiatives at the Community Center.Be organized and detail-oriented with a strong work ethic.Have excellent phone & customer service skills, including the ability to respond to angry or emotional customers.Performing other related duties as assigned by full-time University Housing Office staffĪ successful applicant will possess the following skills and experience:.Using a computer program/database to help residents and provide information.Maintaining high levels of customer service.Providing information to current and prospective students about University Housing policies and procedures via phone, emails and walk-ins. ![]() Performing basic filing, data entry, mail processing, and word processing duties.This position reports directly to the Housing Services Coordinator and the Housing Operations Coordinator. ![]() The Housing Office is open Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm. The individual in this position assists in staffing the University Housing and Residence Life Student Services Office (UHRL) Front Desk by conveying factual information to students, parents, and staff, serving University Housing residents, and performing other clerical duties as assigned. ![]()
